This policy describes the operation of the Pamaglawe website and the use of its integrated offline help. The information about website hosting applies to access over the internet, not to reading the help pages supplied locally. Offline help is addressed separately in Section 8.

2. Hosting and provision of the website
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access the website, STRATO processes technically necessary connection and access data to deliver the pages and maintain the stability and security of the service.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable and secure provision of this website. STRATO acts as a processor for this purpose.
According to STRATO, the visitor's hostname or IP address is anonymized in the log files provided. Web server logs are available for the last six weeks; error logs are available for the last 24 hours.
3. Contact by email or telephone
The website has no contact forms. Clicking an email link only opens the email application configured on your device. No message is transmitted through the website itself.
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide to handle and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If the enquiry concerns entering into or preparing a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR is an additional legal basis.
The data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled and there are no statutory retention obligations or legitimate grounds for further storage. Email data may be processed by the email service provider used for technical delivery.
4. Cookies and external services
This website currently uses no cookies, external analytics or tracking tools, externally loaded fonts, map services, reCAPTCHA, newsletter services or embedded content from external providers. No information is persistently stored in or read from browser storage.
Simple page-view and download counters
We count page views and requests through the download link to assess interest in the product. Only overall and daily totals are stored. The counter stores no IP addresses, browser identifiers or page paths and uses neither cookies nor browser storage. The browser user-agent is checked only during the request to exclude some known bots. Repeat requests are counted again; unique people and completed downloads are not measured. The dashboard is password-protected. Separate hosting logs are described in section 2. Offline help sends no counting requests.
Automatic language selection
When you open the neutral home address, our server uses your connection IP address and a locally stored country database to select the initial language: German for Germany and English for other identified countries. If the country cannot be determined, German remains the default. The IP address is not sent to DB-IP or another geolocation service, and this language function does not store it separately. Existing hosting logs are described in section 2.
Country data: DB-IP IP to Country Lite, used under CC BY 4.0. VPNs and approximate IP location data may produce a different country. The DE/EN links always allow manual selection; their explicit page addresses bypass automatic selection. No language cookies or browser storage are used. Offline help is unaffected.
5. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Personal data is received only by the hosting or email service provider where necessary for technical operation or communication. Transfers of personal data to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area are not envisaged for the current operation of the website.
6. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have in particular the right to access your stored personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to erasure, to restriction of processing and to data portability. You may also object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Right to lodge a complaint

8. Integrated offline help
The offline help supplied with Pamaglawe displays help pages and images stored locally on your device in a dedicated help window. Reading, navigation, image enlargement and searching the topics require no internet connection. Search terms are processed within the local help page and are not sent to us or to a search service.
Using these local help functions does not retrieve help pages from our web server or send usage data to us or external providers. Offline help contains no analytics or tracking services and does not load external fonts or other external content. This local use does not generate the hosting access data described in Section 2.
Links to external websites or email addresses are passed from the help window to your configured browser or email application only after your confirmation. Subsequently accessing an external website may transmit connection and access data to its operator; that service's privacy policy applies. The relevant sections of this policy apply when accessing our website online.
Opening an email link does not automatically send a support request. If you send us an email, Section 3 applies to the handling of your enquiry. Offline help does not automatically transmit project files, plant values or diagnostic logs.
This information concerns the help function. It is not a general statement about data processing in other Pamaglawe functions or in customer projects created with it.

This privacy policy will be updated if the website, integrated help, services used or legal requirements change.
