Add and format labels

Create the heading Anlagenübersicht in 36-pixel bold text with the Pamaglawe teal color. Labels are fixed text and need no PLC address.

1. Insert a label

Open Anlagenübersicht in design mode. Choose Basic objects → Label (Grundobjekte → Label), move the dashed preview to the canvas and click to place. Esc cancels placement. Double-click the inserted label.

This guide uses the left object palette. The bottom status bar identifies the active insertion action.

2. Set text and dimensions

Use name Titel_Anlagenuebersicht, Text / initial value Anlagenübersicht, X/Y 20/20, width/height 600/70, rotation 0, opacity 100 and font size 36. Leave the additional Label field empty and its Visible checkbox off. Name identifies the object; Text / initial value is its visible content. In the illustrated build, Transparenz 100 means fully visible, 0 invisible.

The new object’s initial settings. Text, width, height and font size will be adjusted for the heading.

3. Format the font and color

Open Format label (Label formatieren). Use System, 36 px, PamaGlawe-Petrol (#55d6be), Bold on, Italic off and Left alignment. Pending property edits may not appear in this subdialog: the first image still shows 20 px and the old preview text. Explicitly set 36 here too, since applying formatting writes its font size back to the properties.

The formatting dialog is in front of the general properties. This image still shows the previous formatting.
The preview shows font size, color and alignment. The final wording comes from Text / initial value in the general properties.

4. Apply and save

Apply formatting, check Text / initial value and dimensions, apply the main properties and save with Ctrl+S. Apply alone does not save the project file. Save again after subsequent edits. Continue with an image.

Result: Anlagenübersicht now contains a label with the page heading.

5. Common questions

An old preview caption can reflect the previously applied text. Check and apply the main properties. If text wraps or clips, enlarge its area or reduce the font. If missing, check page, position, color and opacity; the extra Label/Visible checkbox does not control the primary text.
